Welcome to this new addition to our site.  Over the years the Hudson family has built a lot of dulcimers for a lot of mighty fine folk.  We are grateful we have had the opportunity to share our love of the dulcimer with you through our instruments and music  In appreciation to all of you for your continued dedication to our instruments we are inviting you to join our Hudson Family Owner's Club.

We long ago lost count of how many dulcimers we've built and, unfortunately, have lost contact with far too many of you..  If you are a past or present owner of a dulcimer built by Mountain Sounds (Jim), Hudson Hammered Dulcimers (Jerry and Rick) or J&K Hammered Dulcimers (Jim and Kathie) we invite you to help us compile an online history of Hudson family instruments by joining our Owner's Club.  We are hoping to develop this portion of our site into a useful network of current and past owner's that are willing to help us gather as complete a historical record of our instruments as we can assemble.

We are currently exploring on-line possibilities like a chat-room or email group that is restricted to our family of owners.  Our hope is to bring our owners together in one location where we can share information with one another, swap our dulcimer horror stories, share our joys and successes and get to know one another.

Because of the nature of this effort, the site is going to be under constant construction as we begin to assemble info, build our communication structure and get everything up to speed.  Thanks in advance for your patience and please feel free to let us know of problems you encounter.

This section of our site will be kept secure and will not be published on the World Wide Web.  Owners who wish to participate will be given instructions regarding access to the Owner's Club web site.  At the present we are experimenting with avenues to make registration user friendly as well as ways to gather pertinent information regarding you, your instrument and it's history.

As we continue to grow, we will be adding a Pro Owner's section that is dedicated to performing musicians playing a Hudson family dulcimer.  This section will allow you to post a description of you, your band, contact info, a link to your site, and hopefully, photos of you and your dulcimer.

VIP Tech Support is only a click away.  We are here to answer your technical questions or to assist you in locating resources.  All Hudson family dulcimers have been built to very exacting standards and are designed to last many lifetimes if properly maintained.  By joining the Club you will have access to any and all information Jim and our many experienced players can share with you to help keep your dulcimer in heirloom condition.

We invite you and others you may know who currently own (and hopefully, play) one of our family instruments to join us in our effort to assemble a history of our dulcimers.
